The Directorate of Physical Education and Sports (DPES), University of Kashmir, started its calendar of activities with inter-department road race in the categories of men and women.
40 students from various departments participated in the activities.
Dr Musavir, Director DPES, flagged off the event and later distributed prizes among the position-holders.
In the men’s category, Rafiq Ahmed of the Urdu department secured the first position while Aquib Nazir of the Economics department and Nadeem of the Commerce department secured the second and third positions respectively.
In the women’s category, Inayat and Iqra of M P.Ed secured the first and second position, while the third position went to Mehlika Wani of the Institute of Home Science.
