26-member JKCA U-23 Women’s OD team leaves for Mumbai..

Chitra Singh Jamwal led 16-member Women’s U-23 One-Day Team of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has left Jammu for Mumbai to participate in the Women’s U-23 One-Day Trophy, commencing from January 26, 2024.

J&K will begin their campaign against Odisha on January 26 at MIG Cricket Club Mumbai, which will be followed by the match against Saurashtra on January 28 at Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana, Kandivili Mumbai, the match against Haryana at the same venue on January 30. Then J&K will take on Rajasthan on February 1 at MIG Cricket Club Mumbai, to be followed by the matches against Sikkim and Mizoram on February 3 and February 5 respectively at Sharad Pawar Cricket Academy BKC, Mumbai. J&K will lock horns with Goa in their last group match on February 7, 2024 at Dadoji Kondev Stadium, Thane.

The Team: Chitra Singh Jamwal (Captain), Sheena Saraf, Bawandeep Kaur, Ananaya Sharma (VC), Aditi Aryan, Manya Banotra, Mariya Noorain, Lalita (WK), Arveen Riyaz, Mahroof Anjum, Ayushi Ambardar, Shambhavi Rajput, Sehrish Tariq, Aanvi Singh, Kajal Bhagat and Khushboo Aftab.

The team is being accompanied by Irshad Hassan as the Manager, Meenu Singh Slathia as Head Coach, Anuradha Sharma as Co-Manager, Summayah Jan as Bowling Coach, Satika Sharma as Trainer, Mujtaba Wani as Video Analyst and Bisma Gulzar as Physiotherapist.
