Two youth associated with Eidgah Athletes, travelled 412 kilometers on cycle in three days from Srinagar to Leh with an aim to attract youngsters towards fitness and healthy lifestyle.
The duo started their journey on July 02, 2023 and travelled 412 kilometres in just 32 hours and 30 minutes.
Suhail Ahmad Bhat and Showkat Ahmad Sofi from downtown area of Srinagar started their journey on cycle from Eidgah on July 02 morning and reached Leh on July 04.
The aim behind the journey was to create awareness among the masses about healthy lifestyle and attract the youngsters towards fitness.
Suhail Ahmad Bhat said that it has been witnessed that the youngsters are getting indulged in the drug menace, which has devastated the lives of many youth as well as their families.
“We travelled to Leh on cycle to spread a message that fitness is pivotal and the people, especially youngsters should opt for fitness rather than getting indulged in bad habits like drugs and other things,” Bhat said.
